Live Calligraphy and Engraving Services

    Modern Calligraphy

    With my Modern Calligraphy Service, various surfaces including paper/card, plastic, leather, glass, fabric and more are customised using ink or paint.

    Ideal items - notecards, envelopes, gift tags, packaging, place cards, notebooks, handheld fans, baubles, cosmetic bags and champagne bottles. In fact, there are not many items which I cannot personalise in this way.

    Possibilities are endless as to which products can be personalised and I will always endeavour to find a method of personalising your desired product.

    I may ask you to send me a sample of the product for me to test in my studio prior to you event.

    All I require for this set-up is a table and comfortable chair at your venue and appropriate lighting.

    Freehand Engraving

    Hand Engraving is an incredibly skilled artistry requiring a steady hand, experience using tools on multiple surfaces and confidence when permanently altering highly-priced products. All whilst being watched and filmed for social media!

    Glass, metal, stone and most plastic surfaces can be engraved by hand, leaving a permanent etching into your desired item. Names, initials, short messages and illustrations are all possible to create a truly unique keepsake. Engraving is done on-the-spot using a small, quiet hand drill and finish with gold, silver or rose gold varnish. Gold Leaf can also be used for a truly luxury experience.

    Ideal items - fragrance bottles, wine, spirits, lipsticks, mirrors, champagne flutes, cosmetics, hair grips, glass jewellery boxes, hipflasks, stainless steel drinking bottles and more.

    All I require for this set-up is a table and comfortable chair and appropriate lighting. My equipment is wireless and a power supply is not necessary so I can be sited wherever convenient for you whilst providing a luxury experience for your guests.

    Hot Foiling

    During my hot foiling service, heat-activated foil is applied using a heat pen. This means I can add my hand-calligraphy to leather items permanently and with a beautiful shiny finish.

    Ideal for leather and pleather surfaces including luggage tags, card holders, wallets, notebooks and jewellery boxes.

    As leather surfaces can vary considerably, I will require a sample of your product to be tested in my studio prior to your event.

    I will require a table and comfortable chair, good lighting and a power supply for this service.

This experience will always be more memorable and engaging than using a machine to personalise products. Being a freehand engraver, I am able to work on all shaped items and curved surfaces, unlike industry machines which can only engrave flat areas. I can adapt my lettering style to suit your brief and can work with the client to personalise a product in any way they like. If they would like a short phrase or message instead of a name or initials and personal date, great! and if they would like a little heart or kisses next to their message, that’s all part of the benefits of having me personalise live.
