FAQ’s
Does it matter if my handwriting is usually a bit messy? Not at all! I will guide you through by tracing my letter forms initially to build your confidence before experimenting with your own style.
I am left handed, does that matter? Not at all! In fact, left handed calligraphers actually have the advantage by naturally writing with a right-angled slant!
Do many people come to the workshop on their own? Lots of people come along to my workshops on their own. It is a super friendly atmosphere and you will feel right at home either in a group or by yourself.
Is this Workshop suitable for children? My workshops are primarily for adults, however I do accept children aged 14 or above if they have a keen interest in learning calligraphy. All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a fully paying adult. If you are interested in booking a private children’s group workshop for a school or event please get in touch!
Could you run a private session? Yes! I offer private 2 hour 1:1 workshops at a rate of £100, groups of 2 for £80pp and groups of 3 for £70pp. These prices include travel within a 10 miles radius, all resources and a kit to keep. I also offer hen party workshops, corporate classes and more. Please get in contact to book.
